This is the place we're you'd learn about me... but I have trust issues so I'm not sure we know each other well enough that I feel comfortable pouring my soul out for anyone on the internet to read... just yet.

I can tell you I'm a graduate of both the Joe Kubert School and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects... which I'm pretty sure nobody else has managed to graduated from both of those art schools in the same lifetime. While at Gnomon I learned how to 3d model and texture. However my biggest takeaway was changing how I perceived "art" and how to create it.

My work has always been inspired by comicbook illustrators... too numerous to list and rock poster artists like Coop, Frank Kozik and Derrick Hess.

I no longer bother working with traditional methods. Now I use a combination of 3D and Photoshop to create images. I find working completely digitally gives me certain freedoms. I've found working traditionally too limited with trying to create an original piece of lineart, that may or may not sell. When the end game is creating a professional image that will either be printed or published and transmitted to the client digitally. Starting traditionally just seems like an unnecessary extra step.

I spent many years working in automotive advertising for the newspaper industry on both coasts. I've also done cd/album art, flyers and posters for bands, musical events,  bars, clubs, raves and underground parties.

Currently I work in the garment and promotional products industry by day and making illustrations/images by night. I also approach art more like an Art Director, in the sense that I will use 3D content outsourced from other artists, because it's more cost effective than modeling it myself.

So... beyond that, you'll have to settle for my social media accounts and cyber stalking me there. Links are located on the left.  -$ko7
